How to choose shoes?
Did you know that:
- 2/3 of children wear shoes that are too small?
- 1/2 of the children have deformed legs because of this?
- 1/3 of children never walked barefoot?
- children under the age of 10 can't judge whether a shoe is good for them?
What does this mean? Before you buy shoes for your child, it is ideal to measure his foot and then compare it with the inside size of the shoe.
Place the child on the paper and trace his leg. Then measure the distance between the farthest points and add approx. 1 cm to this number, which is the recommended oversize for children's shoes. Do not forget that the width of the shoe is also important. Here too, the shoe should be a few millimeters wider than the foot.
If the insole can be removed from the shoe, simply remove it and place the child on it. It is important that the leg does not protrude anywhere.
